Terms and Conditions

Greetings,

We hope you are doing terrific, thank you so much for your update we appreciate your collaboration and provide us with your website https://in50states.com/.

After checking your website https://in50states.com/, we wanted to bring to your attention an important requirement for successfully completing the TCR process on our website. To proceed, it is mandatory to include opt-in language and a privacy policy on your website. Opt-in language ensures that visitors to your website actively agree to receive communication from your organization, while a privacy policy outlines how their personal information will be collected, used, and protected. These components are essential for maintaining transparency and building trust with your audience.

The opt-in language that you should have is an unchecked checkbox on your website saying “By checking this box I agree to receive SMS communication from 50 STATES TAX CONSULTING CORPORATION according to our privacy policy“. Under you ask for a phone number, you have to have this opt-in language wherever you have a phone number field including third parties website link. The opt-in language needs to be specific for text messages, cannot say that also that is for “calls, emails, etc.” just text messages. This should be a checkbox below where you ask for phone numbers on your website. The checkbox cannot be required or pre-check

Regarding the privacy policy, this should be in a visible place, at the bottom or at the top of your website page, this should be a whole separate page, but under the same domain, this needs to be easy to access and cannot be a document that the customer needs to download first. Your privacy policy cannot have any information saying that your company or the company that created your website will share or sell customer information to any third party and that the SMS consent and the phone number will not be shared at all. If you need more information about it, please check these links

https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Setting-up-TCR-registration-assigning-numbers-to-SMS-campaigns.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US

The privacy policy needs to Clearly state

-what information is collected

-Explain how the information is collected

-Detail how the collected information is used and shared

-Explicitly state that you do not share or receive consumers’ information with/from third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes

Your privacy policy can have information like:

-INTRODUCTION

-CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

-WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

-HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT?

-WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT?

– COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY

-HOW WE MANAGE YOUR COOKIES

-WHO CAN YOU CONTACT FOR MORE INFORMATION?

THE SMS CONSENT AND THE PHONE NUMBER CAN NOT BE SHARED AT ALL.  You can create a bullet point saying “The SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared”
